Counseling and Psychotherapy
Dr. Migden is a skilled counselor and psychotherapist. He has a post-doctoral certificate in psychotherapy, and he has been a psychotherapy supervisor for doctoral students, post-doctoral candidates and psychology interns. For a number of years, he has taught a seminar on psychotherapy to advanced doctoral interns in psychology. Because of his wide-ranging knowledge of psychotherapy, Dr. Migden is able to use a variety of treatment techniques to help people who are struggling with learning or adjustment difficulties.
Dr. Migden's integrated knowledge of learning, attention and emotional-behavioral problems makes him uniquely qualified to offer a wide range of individualized treatment services. He provides individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults, and he counsels parents who need help to more effectively understand, nurture and manage their children.
Dr. Migden's unique qualifications in counseling and psychotherapy include:
- Board Certification in Clinical Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP)
- Post-Doctoral Certificate in Psychotherapy from the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University
- Supervisor of Psychotherapy at the Doctoral, Post-Doctoral and Internship Levels
